2024. What a whirlwind of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments! We had the absolute joy of celebrating 12 amazing couples as they embarked on their happily ever afters, plus the opening of a second location, and countless design projects that ignited our creativity. What a year! On a personal note, it was a year of highs and lows, from landing my first speaking gig and celebrating my own wedding to navigating being away from my loved ones for the first time. Through it all, the Good Times Styled Events family kept shining bright. As we reminisce on this incredible journey, our hearts overflow with gratitude and love. So grab a glass of bubbly and join us as we revisit the magic of 2024!
Winter
We started the year not with a wedding, but with a health and fitness conference in sunny Florida, which was the catalyst to open our second location. Shortly after I packed up my belongings and headed east to get Good Times Deux up and running.
Spring
The very next month we began our 2024 wedding season with the incredible wedding of Rosey + Andrew at The Holbrooke Hotel in Grass Valley, California. Their wedding was the perfect marriage of their distinct styles, full of family, and such an incredible way to start the season off with two very dear friends
May brought with it my first speaking gig and an amazing Brand Conference out of Atlanta. After all of that work I jumped on a cruise ship to join a bachelorette party and hang out on the other side of the wedding planning curtain for a little bit.
Summer
If you know Idaho, you know that summer means weddings. June was such an incredible experience for our team with 5 weddings. Our first took me to Ketchum, Idaho (one of my favorite places on earth) to celebrate Avi + Logan and their stunning private property wedding.
Boise and the winder Boise river were the backdrop to our next event. Marijke + John welcome guests from all over the country to celebrate their nuptials in a place very near and dear to the bride’s heart.
Just a few days later, we headed back up to Ketchum for the wedding weekend of GG + Andrew. If there is a place I love more than Ketchum, it is probably Stanley and this couple gave me both! Their wedding was truly special to me because to have a friend choose you to orchestrate their day is the greatest honor, especially when it is a family only affair. So we headed off grid and made magic.
The very same weekend our team had the opportunity to plan brightly for Kati + Nathaniel’s bold and bright wedding at TRICA. This was so much fun to plan and add special touches like the bride’s own Fiesta Ware to their sweetheart table. I loved being a part of their day!
We closed out the month of June with the long awaited dance party of a wedding for Dana + Grant. This couple knows how to have fun and they brought it to life on their wedding day, complete with themed attire, inside and outside jokes, and so much love.
July was a quiet time for us here at Good Times so we took advantage and spent the 4th of July at the Nation’s Capitol before heading back to Idaho for Lexi + Blake’s wedding reception at the Train Depot. The couple was recently married in Mexico and wanted to celebrate at home with friends and family and we knew just how to do it!
With August on the horizon and summer coming to an end we could not wait for the wedding of the season. A multiple day celebration, you guessed it, in Ketchum, Idaho. We utilized multiple Sun Valley properties (where we also happen to be a Preferred Planner, btw) and created magic for guests traveling from all over the world. We know how to throw a party and Sheri + Brad knew just who to invite!
After celebrating Sheri + Brad we packed our bags and headed back to Florida to prep for an incredible wedding in Dublin, Ireland.
Fall (but Florida Fall feels like summer….still…)
In September Colorado was calling our name so we jumped on a plane and listened to celebrate Cristina + Chris in Telluride for their stunning private property wedding. An intimate gathering with only their nearest and dearest, this bride was so creative and so much fun to work with.
And then…SURPRISE! We turned around and got married ourselves with a pitstop in Colorado Springs at Garden of the Gods. As a Wedding Planner, I knew one thing….the photographer I HAD TO HAVE and y’all….Casey is it for me.
September was not done just yet, we still had the amazing couple Katie + Grant to celebrate at Shore Lodge in McCall, Idaho. This venue is beautiful and this couple is even more so. Two of the most selfless and kind people I have ever met in my life and you can feel this from not only them and their families, but their guests as well.
We wrapped up our season and weddings with a final October wedding for Rhiannon + Matt. I loved how much this couple opened up throughout the planning process and feel like I have friends for life with the two of them.

To Bailey (my husband, sometimes assistant, personal chef) I couldn’t do this without you. You keep me sane and healthy. Thank you for always being by my side and believing in me every single step of the way. I love you.
And as I read from an incredible mentor and friend of mine “May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful and don’t forget to make some art – write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.” (Quote from Neil Gaiman)
Cheers to an incredible 2025!
